Massieve schone zandsteen. Waar de zandsteen het dikst is, komt een goed te correleren kleilaag voor in het midden van het pakket.
Depositional setting
Eolisch. De kleilaag is afgezet in een lacustrien milieu.

Scherpe grens met de onderliggende kleisteen.
Definition of upper boundary
Scherpe grens met de bovenliggende rode kleisteen.

Extreem variabele dikte: 5 - 165 m.
