Lithologische beschrijving
Succession of grey to reddish halite. Pure salt sequence, with gamma-ray readings comparable to those in the upper cycle of the Z2 Salt. In the middle and upper part two potassium-magnesium-rich salt beds are frequently observed. Among the minerals present are kieserite, carnallite and the rare bischofite (Coelewijn et al., 1978). The recessive, upper part of this member is represented by halites with an increase in red clay content.
